ISN-ANIO Indukaka Ipcowala Apprenticeship Program

DESCRIPTION

The Indukaka Ipcowala Advanced Apprenticeship Program has been established by the ISN ANIO India Committee to enable physicians or allied healthcare personnel from India to gain specific skills by practical experience in any field of nephrology, including but not limited to renal pathology, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation, dialysis.

Application Procedure

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

There are two applications rounds every year. You can either submit your application before May 1st or October 1st.

Applying Apprentice must identify a Home Mentor (a senior nephrologist and ISN member). He or she will help locate a suitable Host Institution and Mentor (also an ISN member) to establish a strong relationship, match interests and develop a training plan. Alternative they can contact the ISN headquarters to help locate a suitable host institution and mentor. All graduated apprentices agree to submit a report at the end of their apprenticeship, stating the benefits and outcome of their experience.

Applicants will be notified on the status of their application approximately 3 months after the application deadline.

Please note that apprentice who have already completed their training are required to submit an End-of-Training Report, following which they will be issued a certificate.

Patel’s important contribution to the ISN-ANIO’s mission to support high quality sustainable program to improve the quality of healthcare for people with kidney disease in India through research and education.
