It is about a month passing from steroid therapy of that patient; three consecutive days of methylprednisolone puls therapy , and 1 g cyclophosphamide following 50 mg/d prednisolone (Unfortunately, I received your point after starting therapy based on kidney biopsy result of crescentic GN
Now, serum Cr falls to 1.8 mg/dL after a month of therapy. It equals the first amount of serum Cr at presentation.
For your more information, Cr rised rapidly to 2.2 mg/dL at the first day of puls therapy
Would you please help me through this case that how would be the next step of treatment? Is it better to continue with 50 mg/d prednisolone for the second month and give her steroid puls at 3 and 5 months? Are you going with cyclophosphamide monthly till 6 months (better to remind that she is single)? How about AZT plus oral steroids?
