The 2nd International Congress on Immunointervention in Nephrology will be held May 24–26, 2001, in Chai Laguna (Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy). This meeting will focus on therapeutic strategies in kidney transplantation and glomerular diseases. The program will include lectures from invited international speakers, round tables, sessions of posters, and free communications. This meeting is intended to present an update of the emerging immunomodulating drugs and to discuss the best immunosuppressive strategies in kidney transplantation and primary glomerulonephritis. NephroAsia 2001. Cell & Molecular Biology of Membrane Transport Systems & Disorders, an official satellite meeting of the International Union of Physiological Sciences Congress 2001. 18th National Congress of Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation of the Turkish Society of Nephrology (TSN) to be held on 5-9 September 2001 in Cappadocia, Turkey. On 5 September 2001, an Update Course on CAPD will take place headed by Professor Dimitri Oreopoulos and jointly organized by the TSN and the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD). Renal disease in racial and ethnic minority groups will be held, under the auspices of the American Society of Nephrology and the International Society of Nephrology, at the Eldorado Hotel, Santa Fe, New Mexico on the 19-20 October 2001.
