An interesting case of hypermagnesemia due to drowning in Dead Sea, presented at the 11th Annual Scientific Meeting of Jordanian Society of Nephrology held in Amman from ?January 23th to 25th, 2013. The Case presents an 82-year old male patient from Yemen with type IIDM and hypertension for the last 7-years admitted to ICU in a comatose state. The patient was found nearly drowned in the Dead Sea, resuscitated at a local hospital, intubated and transferred to Jordan Hospital for further management.
