Q2: Final Cut Express import DVD?
id like to edit my homemade DVD in FCE, but it doesnt allow me to do that, any solution? any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
Q3: FCP folks!! Is there a way to import DVD footage to edit in FCP? Can I capture a DVD to FCP?
have a news reporter dvd resume. I do not have the original footage on a hard drive/external. I need to take the material from the dvd and re-edit it in Final Cut to update my resume. I tried handbreak but fcp doesnt import mpg4 files. I also tried hooking my dvd player to a minidv and record to that- but I wasnt successful. When its on MiniDV cam is on VRC mode, i see the footage but i cant record. When its on the camera setting, i see my surroundings and not the dvd footage. Cant quite figure out what Im missing. What can i do?
Luckily, a friend of mine recommended me a DVD Ripper for Mac which he tried very great. I download the free trial and found its very easy to use, and can rip DVD to FCE, iMovie, FCP formats MPEG-4, MOV, DV, HDV, etc for Mac OS. Then I bought it without any hesitating. If you have the same problem with me, maybe you can try it. Learn the details about how to rip DVD to FCP, iMovie, FCE! Hope to help you. If you dont like Mac editor, of course, you also can try the DVD editor for Mac.
