The Societies organizing the 2003 World Congress of
Nephrology are pleased to offer travel grant plus free congress registration opportunities
to 210 young nephrologists (less than 40 years of age by the 31st December 2003).
Applicants from within Europe (including the Baltic countries) shall be considered for the
EDTA/ERA and ESPN travel grants; those from outside Europe and ISN past or present fellows
shall be considered for the ISN travel grants. The terms of selection for these grants are
different. Applicants are invited to consider these terms carefully before submitting
their application. Awards will be announced by 15 April 2003.
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF NEPHROLOGY:
120 grants restricted to ISN members; 500US$ for fellows from within
Europe, 1000 US$ for all other categories.
Priority:
- ISN fellows who have completed their training and returned to their
home countries
- Those presenting abstracts
- Those who have not received ISN travel grants before
- Those who did not participate in ICNs before
- Members of the Renal Sister Center Program
EUROPEAN RENAL ASSOCIATION-EUROPEAN DIALYSIS AND TRANSPLANTATION ASSOCIATION:
60 grants of 500 , restricted to those submitting abstracts.
Grants shall be awarded to the presenting authors of the best 15 abstracts in each of the
following topics:
- Basic Science
- Clinical Nephrology
- Dialysis
- Transplantation
EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF PEDIATRIC NEPHROLOGY:
30 grants of 500 , to the presenting authors of the best
abstracts in paediatric nephrology.
For all categories, the following documents must be enclosed with your application:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Photocopy of a personal ID (passport/driver’s license)
- Photocopy of submitted abstract(s) if applicable.
