General Information
To increase accessibility to its programs, the ISN provides travel grants to its biennial World Congresses of Nephrology, the annual ISN Forefronts Conferences, and other selected educational events of high scientific value.
Approximately half of these travel grants are reserved specifically for young physicians and scientists from developing countries. Past ISN fellows typically receive special consideration in order to ensure their continued education.
International Congress travel grants favor young physicians and scientists who are submitting abstracts. A portion of the available funding is designated for nephrologists from developing countries. There are 120 travel grants available for each World Congress of Nephrology (WCN). The next WCN will be held in
Singapore
June 26-30, 2005.
Six travel grants are awarded to young scientists from developing countries to attend each ISN Forefront Conference . Applicants for these grants must have training and experience in an area of research relevant to the Forefront Conference selected. Additionally, adequate home institution infrastructure for the pursuit of approaches discussed at the conference is required. Click

Travel Grant Application for the WCN 2005 in Singapore
The International Society of Nephrology is pleased to offer 120 travel grants plus free congress registrations to its young members, below 40 years of age.
Selection will be made according to a scoring system that provides certain advantages to fellows, members from emerging nations, and those who did not receive ISN travel grants before. The sum of the grant amounts to $500 USD for persons from the Asia Pacific region and $1000 USD for those from other regions of the world.
Please note that if you have already applied for a ‘WCN 2005 Scholarship Award’ you are not eligible for this travel grant.
