This course is also for medical students and health care professionals interested in the research and knowledge on clinical transplantation. The course is taught by a multidisciplinary team of transplant professionals from Leiden University Medical Center and is divided into 4 modules: Before the transplant; Surgical procedures and the challenged patient, including patients with diabetes; Early challenges; Late challenges after transplantation. 

This MOOC course includes lectures, interactive patient cases, 3D movies, interviews with well-known experts and with patients and a donor, a serious game to increase knowledge of the field and of course an active forum.
