5.0/5 rating (1 votes)

NKDEP is an initiative of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) designed to reduce the morbidity and mortality caused by kidney disease and its complications. NKDEP works in collaboration with a range of government, nonprofit, and health care organizations to raise awareness among people at risk for CKD about the need for testing; educate people with CKD about how to manage their disease; provide information, training, and tools that help health professionals better identify and manage CKD patients; and support changes in the laboratory community that yield more accurate, reliable, and accessible test results.

Recently revamped and now available in different language formats, the NKDEP website is a very practical and functional educational resource for health practitioners and consumers alike.
