Immigration

US Citizens should have with them a valid passport, or a valid photo ID and a certified copy of their birth certificate issued by the Department of Records of the State in which they were born. Naturalized US Citizens, if they do not have a valid US passport, should bring their certificate of naturalization.

Non-US Citizens should obtain a stamped and signed Form I-94 upon entering the US for the ASN conference in San Diego. You will need this form to re-enter the US on November 20. In addition, Non-US Citizens should have with them a valid passport, and an additional photo ID. Please contact the Mexican Consul or Embassy in your country of origin to determine whether or not an additional Visa will be required.

Note:  A nominal fee of approximately $20.00 USD, will be collected from you by the Mexican Immigration Officer upon entering Mexico.

Transportation 

To the Conference:

Because it is extremely difficult and expensive to take US rental cars into Mexico, the Conference will provide complimentary round trip transportation to Ensenada. 

Monday, November 17:

Buses will depart the San Diego Convention Center at 1:00 PM. Please have all your luggage and belongings with you at the Convention Center to be loaded onto the buses at 1:00 PM.

Note: A nominal fee of approximately $20.00 USD, will be collected from you by the Mexican Immigration Officer upon entering Mexico. 

Thursday, November 20: Transportation back to the San Diego Airport will be provided on Thursday. Shuttle availability will be based on registrant flight departure times. Therefore, it is extremely important that you fill out the Airline Information section of the Registration Form. The shuttle schedule will be posted at the Conference Registration Desk. 

Complimentary transportation is provided on November 17 and November 20, ONLY. You will be responsible for making your own transfer arrangements outside these dates.

Note: To minimize problems entering and leaving Mexico, be sure you have all the appropriate documentation referred to in the Immigration Section, above.

The Conference will provide a complimentary shuttle from Las Rosas and Posada el Rey Sol Hotels to the Conference Hotel on the following schedule.
