The ISN continues to develop and consolidate strategic partnerships that help to further deliver on its overarching goal of advancing nephrology in the developing and developed world.

International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA)
In 2010, the two Societies agreed to formalize their partnership and to start working together towards common goals, which will be expressed in a number of specific projects, aimed at promoting education in developing countries.

ISH_Logo   International Society of Hypertension (ISH)
ISN and ISH share many goals because of the close interrelationship of kidney disease and high blood pressure. In 2009, they agreed to formalise their partnerships and start working together on several common projects.

International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD)
ISN and ISPD share many goals in ensuring the development of peritoneal dialysis throughout the world, wherever it is an appropriate form of renal replacement therapy. In 2011, they agreed to formalise their partnerships and start working together on various projects.

The Transplantation Society (TTS)
In 2008, the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and the Transplantation Society (TTS) worked on preparing content for the Istanbul Declaration on Organ Trafficking and Transplant Tourism. Their efforts culminated in the Declaration being finalized at the International Summit in Istanbul, Turkey.

   KDIGO   

    

Kidney Disease Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO)
KDIGO is a global non-profit organization dedicated to improving the care and outcomes of kidney disease patients worldwide through the development and implementation of global clinical practice guidelines. The ISN supports KDIGO guidelines dissemination through its journal, Kidney International, and participates into planning meetings of the KDIGO advisory board.
