What I do

I have the pleasure of serving as the Executive Director of the ISN.

I hold business and hospitality management degrees from schools in Vienna, Austria.

Between 1992 and 1996 I gained experience as a conference and association manager in Vienna, before pursuing a career in Washington DC, USA where I worked for several international medical professional organizations between 1996 and 2003.

In 2003, I relocated to Brussels, Belgium to assume the position of Executive Director of the ISN.

In my career of over 15 years, I have been involved – and in many cases led – organizations like the European Congress of Radiology, the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology, the International Bone and Mineral Society, the Osteoarthritis Research Society International, the International Society for Experimental Hematology, the International Child Neurology Association, the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry and the International Liver Cancer Association.

I speak frequently at association and congress management conferences worldwide on topics related to professional management.
