On October 1st, 2012, Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) released a statement explaining its new independent status as an organization. It will now function with its own governance, legal status and mission. Read the full press release HERE.
KDIGO is a global non-profit foundation dedicated to improving the care and outcomes of kidney disease patients worldwide. The ISN supports KDIGO guidelines dissemination through its journal, Kidney International, and participates in planning meetings for the KDIGO advisory board.
