Video testimonies on pediatric nephrology in Colombia
Following a successful ISN Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program in Cali, Colombia last October, ISN is happy to share some testimonies filmed during the meeting at the Institucional Unidad Neurología Pediátrica, Fundaciòn Valle del Lili. ISN would like to thank pediatric nephrologist Jaime M. Restrepo and Alejandro Montenegro for providing some great material that illustrates the impact of kidney disease in the country, the life of a kidney patients and the fantastic work of this nephrology unit.

EAP: results of call for application 2012-2
Several emerging centers will be welcoming ISN Educational Ambassadors to their institutions as of next year following the recent call for applications session. ISN has now released the latest list of institutions who have been awarded funding to welcome an ISN Educational Ambassador to their institution. ISN GO South Asia Regional Workshop held in conjunction with the 43rd meeting of the Indian Society of Nephrology
The Gujarat University Convention Centre was the location for the first ISN GO Regional Workshop in South Asia, held on December 8, 2012 during the third day of the 43rd annual meeting of the Indian Society of Nephrology. This Regional Workshop in South Asia completes the first pilot cycle of regional workshops planned in each of the ISN developing regions from 2011 to next year. Plans are now in progress to begin the second cycle of these new events to be held from 2013 to 2015.

December 10, 2012 is also the deadline for submitting your application for travel grants to the World Congress of Nephrology (WCN) 2013. Don’t miss this important date to apply for ISN funding for the next WCN being held in the vibrant city of Hong Kong from May 31 to June 4, 2013. EAP helps to share knowledge between Venezuela and Guatemala
Octavio Salgado from the University of Zulla in Venezuela recently visited the Hospital General San Juan de Dios in Guatemala. He made the trip as an ISN Global Outreach Educational Ambassador and shared his knowledge with fellow doctors in the Latin American region.
