General Information

Constantly striving to respond to the needs of its members across geographical borders and interrelated specialties, the Society principally exists to serve researchers and clinicians by providing a wide range of services, coverage, programs, events and publications with one aim in mind: to advance nephrology around the world.

The Society aims to continuously develop the range and quality of its services and benefits offered to members.

The ISN has witnessed solid growth in membership numbers, strong retention rates, and an expanded membership reach into a total of 126 countries worldwide. Due to this truly international reach, the ISN members benefit from their member peers – the leading authorities in both basic science and clinical medicine.  Sharing ideas and insight with several thousand peers from over 126 countries allows members to further expand their professional expertise.

The membership year is January 1 through December 31 with the renewal period commencing on 1 October and ending on 31 January.
