About ISN

Since its foundation in 1960, ISN has pursued the worldwide advancement of education, science and patient care in nephrology.

ISN’s members set the standard for patient care worldwide, and lead the fight for more effective treatments, increased worldwide collaboration in clinical and translational research, and, ultimately, cures for the renal and related diseases that strike millions of people around the world every year.

ISN has over 8,000 professional

members

from more than 100 countries.

In addition, ISN closely collaborates with over 65 national and regional nephrology societies around the world, representing about 20,000 professionals.
