Prevention Conference announced
for Bellagio

October 27, 2003) – ?Prevention of renal diseases in the emerging world: Toward global health equity? is the theme of a recently announced ISN Prevention Conference, to be held March 16-18, 2004 in Bellagio, Italy. This working conference will unite 24 invited renal clinical scientists and policy makers from various organizations to discuss the growing burden of chronic renal disease around the globe. The attendees will be roughly divided in half between those coming from the developed and the developing worlds.
Through the Prevention Conferences, ISN aims to establish specific goals and targets for brighter outcomes in the future. The gathering is supported by the Rockefeller Foundation and the WHO.
