- The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Award for Medical Sciences will honour an individual who exemplifies the dedication,
research abilities and clinical contributions that ultimately help to stop the devastating
effects of renal diseases.
- The deadline for the Lillian Jean Kaplan Prize for
Advancement in the Understanding of PKD has been extended to Friday February 15th,
2003.
- The International Society of Nephrology is pleased to
announce the AMGEN Inc. International Prize for Therapeutic Advancement of
Nephrology, which inaugurates recognition for those who have increased the
understanding and treatment of kidney disease through basic or clinical scientific
