Application for COMGAN Support

ISN Sponsorship

ISN encourages the organizers of scientific symposia, postgraduate courses, and workshops to apply for Society sponsorship of their endeavor.

ISN sponsorship provides:

  • use of the Society’s name as a sponsor or co-sponsor
  • announcement of the meeting in

    Kidney International

    , contingent upon the receipt of written information in the Editorial Office at least 6 months in advance of the meeting

  • the possibility of partial financial support.

Application for COMGAN Support

Guidelines

Applications must include the following information:

  • the topic, purpose, location and date(s) of the meeting
  • the names and titles of the members of the scientific organizing committee
  • a list of all co-sponsoring institutions, if any, and sources of financial support
  • the total revenue and expense budget for the proposed meeting, by major category
  • the names and institutions of origin of all invited speakers, and their topics
  • a statement as to whether manuscripts will be solicited from invited speakers, or free communications sought from others
  • an expression of willingness to include the following acknowledgment on all publications: “… was held under the auspices of the International Society of Nephrology”.

These guidelines do not apply to satellite symposia to be held in close proximity to a biennial Congress. Furthermore, ISN will not sponsor or co-sponsor any regularly scheduled or routine international, national, or regional meeting, nor will it co-sponsor postgraduate courses with other international societies or groups.
